The view from above, Kauri Tops, high point of the sculpture walk. If one was to enlarge the above image one could see pristine paths perambulating positively, or somewhat pointlessly some would say..... they would be the somebodies that when faced with a different feel barge their way through hedges to escape an experience of life, unless they are sub teenage and are just yelling “My World”. No matter, what you are looking at is the result of endless trundles, as per the previous months blather, to get barrows of gravel  a couple of meters into the labyrinth by the longest possible route..... sigh, and upon looking at the said photo the realization strikes that the hedging is looking just a tad exuberant and raggy. This was followed by the sinking feeling associated with the likely scenario of this body having to rectify this....... and probably with a pair of kitchen scissors, or something equally inane in the interests of not getting too slothful and slabby, masochism some might say..... they would be the somebodies who have already sensibly escaped through the hedges. Dragons Nests & Blue Balls
2015 - November
First week in November So....... project of the month award would have to go to the dragoness herself,  she has been getting all clucky and doing nesting, meticulous machinations in the mulch one might say. Trust me this is A NEST, three eggs thus far and more than enough room for me should I end up in the dog box um dragons den um earned status of persona non grata, then to no doubt to scream dream of.......... well maybe just to worry a little, and what if they are all girls!
So there you have it, and I am first to admit this photo does not do nesting justice and it has to be seen to be appreciated. I’m guessing here but after the eggs have hatched we can likely offer overnighters to any passing Giant Moa. Now to the “blue balls” bit and taking care to avoid salacious reference to brass monkeys and the like the following photo struck me as being quite cool, just another prickly moment in the pond of life as lit from the higher side while silently skimming the murkier depths.
