Treedragons Sculpture The Fence Post Gallery
Exploring the nature of stone and favouring the Bas Relief style of sculpture.  Powerful pieces in either Totara Limestone or the more local Hinuera Stone, each piece instinctively designed to stir something within, without defining what that might be, after all when viewing the works they are yours...... Created within the Hammer Dome under the shade of the old magnolia tree there can often be found the sculptor in a cloud of dust and stone chips, most happy to stop and chat a little while in the midst of creating another “Moment of Movement in Stone”. Below are just a few of the pieces on show. There are more of the earlier works to be seen on the Gallery page,  and The Fence Post Gallery is steadily growing. But first the work zone
The Fence Post Gallery A relatively new development that aspects a range of sculptures specifically designed to enhance the area, both local and afar...... and is the main display area for any of Treedragon’s  current works.  This is a dynamic area in slow sort of way as the sculptures are created on site with expanding gallery areas as numbers grow. As part of this project each and every visitor that stops to contemplate adds to the mix, the feel, with their unique interpretation, appreciation, or otherwise......    None of this is anything to do with the sculptor, his part is done when the work/s are completed and offered for viewing. Below is a varied mix of sculptures featuring some of what is available for viewing.  None of these are for sale but Treedragon can be talked into commission work....... maybe  :-) Click the images for larger versions.
